This was a super-fast enjoyable read- I love everything that Frieda writes and this didn’t disappoint.  A housewife has a “Dear Debbie” column in a local newspaper that she works on outside of raising her two daughters and tending to a beautiful garden.  The book shows Debbie’s life through her daily activities of the gym, book club and raising a family.  She seems like a good housewife but lurking down inside is a darker person that is starting to peek through her put-together façade.  As the darker person appears the people around her and her family are beginning to suffer. Frieda has a way of throwing twists in every book that I never see coming, the hints that are interwoven through the book make you think you have it all figured out but once again she has multiple twists.  Overall, I liked that all the story lines mixed together nicely however there were some secrets that husband and wife were keeping from each other that do not seem realistic for a long-term successful relationship.
