The Divorce

4 Stars - The book starts off unrealistic- or if this is a real situation then a divorce might be a good idea. The husband and wife seem to have no communication or connection. The husband packs her bags saying they are “re-modeling” and she has to stay at their in-laws old apartment. Naomi leaves her house and child behind believing he is going to meet her tomorrow. To me this seems un-realistic, this was the begining so I was skeptical as I kept reading, but thankfully Frieda delivered a few huge twists and turns I never saw coming. The divorce continues and the husband is found with another woman. As much as Naomi wants to save the marriage, the husband is not going for it. He reserves all of the good lawyers in town, makes her think shes going crazy, takes all of the money and moves the other woman in their home. The book was emotional just imagining my own life as a wife and mom and being ripped away from your child and having your husband be so awful. As I kept reading my view changed about the husband and wife and in the end everything works out as it should.
